Run the day-to-day on residential renovation and addition projects, from framing through finish, with a small crew and direct support from the principal.
Responsibilities & requirements
What you'll do
Lead rough and finish carpentry on kitchens, baths, lower levels, additions and exterior refreshes
Read plans, lay out work and coordinate trade partners on site
Keep the site safe, clean and on schedule; communicate daily with the project lead
Mentor apprentices and hold the crew to Millard's quality standard
What you bring
5+ years of residential carpentry with at least 2 leading a crew
Comfortable with structural framing, window and door installation, trim and cabinetry
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and your own hand tools
Learn the trade the right way on real projects with an experienced crew. No experience required, just a good attitude and a willingness to show up and work.

Learn to read plans, measure accurately and use tools safely
Keep materials organized and the site ready for the next phase
What you bring
Reliable, punctual and eager to learn
Able to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet in all seasons
Valid driver's license preferred
